The Wind Country also had its own losses years ago, for within the final stand against the Akatsuki and Sasuke, the Fifth Kazekage had given his life. Sabaku no Gaara and Naruto Uzumaki fought side by side, and within the peace, Sunagakure No Sato rested with Konoha. The second largest country found on the scale of the country. However since that painful day early one hundred years ago, the nation as well has come to pass nearly several Kage, with the recent rule of the Eight Kazekage being found within the country.

Water country has seen countless bloodshed and war over the past several centuries. At one point civilians tried to wipe out those among them with Kekkei Genkai to the point of extinction. This war was called the Bloodline Wars, and remains one of the key points to Water Country's history. It is also the single country that has suffered the most from the last stand nearly a century ago. With the arrival of Sasuke and Madara at the countries borders into Konoha this country was dragged into war.

Lightning Country, known for treason and hail from the pass, were once formidable foes with the Fire country, but now have become allies. Without engaging within the war similar to the other nations it was able to keep its strength and military. Within the years of peace they continued to build their armies, and now are known to have one of the best ANBU factions within the whole continent. With a country of only elite and Kekkai Genkai, this nation is the military power of the Shinobi Nations. With this the world has come to meet the Seventh Raikage. With this territory has expanded and trade routes have opened, becoming more diverse and larger in size. However it is within this nation that most of the rebel uprisings have been occurring along with the spotting of ghosts.

Very little is actually known about the Waterfall Country, only those within Takigakure No Sato also known as the Hidden Waterfall Village know the truth about it. Much like that of Fire Country the areas surrounding Waterfall Country are filled with trees and large cliffs that dot the land itself.

While a small country, Grass Country is one of the more lush areas that houses forests of trees and bamboo, grasslands, mountain and raging rivers throughout its lands. Over the years, because of whom Grass Country shares its borders with several countries have invaded it during the Ninja wars, which included that of Fire and Earth Country.

Surrounded by dotting forests and large rice fields to grow rice inside of, Rice Country has by no means been a peaceful village during its past. There have been many conflicts with war, along with the guidance by the Sannin and missing ninja Orochimaru who was allowed to enter into Rice Country by seeking out the leader of Rice Country, the Daimyo. Who sought only to become more powerful, however now Rice country has become a much weaker village, after the events that took place in order to bring back one Uchiha Sasuke by Uzumaki Naruto.

Very little is known about Bear Country, other than the fact it is surrounded by forests and dotted by mountains here and there. There is also a deadly poisonous crevice that expels poisonous fumes, which can kill if crossed by anyone. Bear Country is home to Hoshigakure No Sato also known as the Hidden Star Village. Centuries years ago around three hundred, a meteor crashed into the country, like a falling star, it is because of this star that the village got its name.

The countryside of Snow Country was once lost in a year round winter that dotted the countryside with snow and ice. This changed several centuries ago when the weather generator was activated and caused spring to blossom, melting the ice and snow. The generator has warmed the country to the point that the people of Snow Country can experience some hot climate weather. But at the same time, Snow Country itself is a smaller country in the shinobi world that has not always been at peace within itself in the past. With funding from the Daiymo centuries ago, over the years Snow Country has become an attraction because of the warm climates. They still experience some winter here and there but to those who come to Snow Country they can find the warmest hot springs and spa facilities available.

The International Ninja Squad, or INS Headquarters can be found here, only the members of the true INS are able to enter. Here they conduct meetings and make plans to find out information or whatever may be the case or situation that that time.
